Meet “The Trouper”

RUFF RANGERS DOG ADVENTURES, OWNER AND PACK LEADER

Ruff Rangers Adventures strives to give dogs and their guardians their best lives possible. A quote of praise I often receive is “I wish I was one of your dogs!” It’s a sentiment I totally get. Many times I wish I was one of my dogs! Obviously a big part of my raison d’etre is to be out there adventuring with my best pals. It’s almost a spiritual connection I feel with these four-legged critters. lf creating a better life for dogs and their humans is part of the payoff, then I feel I have succeeded!

Originally a New Englander, I’ve been in Colorado for 37 years. I’m a graduate of the Colorado Rocky Mountain School in Carbondale and California Institute of the Arts’ film school. I am an alumnus of the National Outdoor Leadership School’s semester in Kenya. I have had training locally as an EMT. I grew up with dogs and have always had them in my life.

Ruff Rangers Adventures seeks to actively support local non-profit organizations who’s missions are to better the lives of people and their pets. Our goal is to keep as low an impact on the planet as possible. We are happy to offer lower income club members reduced rate services.

We want the result of our time together with your dog to result in a prideful boast of, “I’m so happy my dog is a Ruff Ranger!”

Meet “The Resident Rangers”

Ruby

Ruby is our resident wise woman. Admittedly she is an old girl, clocking in at fourteen.

Ruby is a bit of a “daddy’s girl.” She doesn’t like to let me out of her sight. She sets the tone and enforces the rules in the pack. Really, a very cute and loving girl.

‍ ‍

Fly

The baby in the group, Fly is coming up on five years old. She is so energetic. Loves to chase the ball or frisbee. She is in the process of inheriting the role of “pack leader.”

Fly is named after the mother dog in the film, “Babe.” Another super-sweet doggie!
